In a packed Wyoming Ballroom at Little America Resort in Cheyenne, current governor Matt Mead outlined his successes over the last four years as well as his vision for the future of the State. In a short speech that coincided with his birthday, Mead stressed the important role of the private sector in the state's economy as well as his history of decreasing the regulatory burden for businesses.
During Mead's tenure, the State has received nationwide accolades for its business and tax climate, as well as being the second best-run state in the union (Yahoo Finance).
It is anticipated that most re-election activities will begin after the current legislative session is complete.
